Arlington, VA, 26 June 2017 – Leonardo announced today that its U.S. subsidiary, Leonardo DRS, completed the acquisition of Daylight Solutions, Inc., a leading developer and supplier of quantum cascade laser based products and technology.
The automatic deployable flight recorder will be a combined voice and data device, and is being developed in co-operation with L3 Technologies and Leonardo's DRS Technologies Canada arm.
